Cultural Safari Ride through the hills to Mt. Fokas and our area, visiting a mountainside church and taking in breathtaking views.

Olive Mill Visit: Witness the journey from fruit to golden oil at a local working mill.

The Harvest Days Retreat at a glance...

DAY 1:

After making your way from Athens to Corinthia with our mini van, your adventure begins with a warm welcome from our team and a stop to admire the Corinth Canal! Then, you have some time to check-in and settle in, to get ready for our welcome dinner! This will be your first experience of a local dinner, taking the time to connect with each other, discuss the activities of the week, exchange stories and laugh over great food and amazing wine!

Olive Harvest Retreat - Connect with you

DAY 2:

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast, roll your sleeves up and let's start picking! You will be shown ohw to pick olives the right way and you will explore your own personal picking style, harvesting the Manaki & Megaritiki olives - the local Corinthian varieties that our family is known for! We will then enjoy a light lunch, full of local flavors and carefully prepared by our chef Melina!

DAY 3:

We will start the day fresh, heading back to the groves after your healthy breakfast. This time, we are going to perfect the art of harvesting and changes between different harvest roles to better understand each step. We will discuss about the best practices as well as the effects of bad practices on olive oil! We will then have our day's handmade and healthy snacks and enjoy a fun safari, exploring the local cultural sights and conquer our little mountain of Fokas with the most brilliant and breathtaking view! The day has not finished - after our safari, we will drive to the olive mill to witness first hand the making of olive oil and learn from experienced millers! We will close the day with a dinner at a traditional taverna - so traditional and local, that even Athenians are considered "foreigners" here!

DAY 4:

Today we are enjoying more relaxed vibes! After our breakfast, you will enjoy a lifechanging olive oil tasting. Guided by our olive oil sommelier and founder, you will taste different olive oils, different qualities and varieties to connect the dots between your practices and what you taste. A lovely food pairing session will bring out the best in each olive oil and will carry you away with the outcomes! We will depart for Nemea once we finish with our tasting to explore cultural sights and experience an flavorful dinner, accompanied by a wine tasting at a small, hidden gem winery.

DAY 5:

Our last day begins with a breakfast and check-out. We will drive up to the groves for our cooking class - a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to make Greek meze, bites and family recipes that carry the stories of generations! We will enjoy the meal you made with amazing olive oil, great wine and even better company, sharing our thoughts, experience and memories of our beautiful days together. But that's not all! Await to be surprised before hopping on your van to make your way back to Athens, filled with ever lasting memories and a new family that will always await you and welcome here at the groves.
